Our Process in 4 Simple Steps

Our Process and What Happens When You Reach Out to Us

Step 1: Free Consultation

When you get in touch, one of our consultants will assess your case and answer any initial questions. If necessary, we’ll assign an employment advocate, who will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your case further and explain your options.

Step 2: Authorisation to Act

If you decide to proceed, you’ll receive an email with our Terms of Engagement and an Authorisation to Act form. You can accept these online, which grants us permission to represent you and begin working on your case.

Step 3: Taking Action

Based on your goals and the specifics of your situation, we’ll take the necessary steps. This might include supporting you in a disciplinary meeting, negotiating a settlement, or managing a restructure, while handling all communication with your employer to minimise your stress.

Step 4: Resolution or Mediation

Most cases are resolved informally with a legally binding settlement. If this isn’t possible, we’ll move to mediation with an impartial mediator. If mediation fails, we may take your case to the Employment Relations Authority for a final decision.
